Animal lover Francisca knew immediately when she saw Bean the cat. She wanted to adopt her. But when she contacted the animal shelter where the cat lived, she was surprised. It turned out that no one had previously applied to adopt Bean in particular. posterposter – I got a call from a friendly lady from the animal shelter who asked me if Bean was really the cat I wanted to apply for, since apparently no one had been interested in her before. The woman who called me was afraid that I just pressed the wrong button or something, says Francisca Franken to the animal site The Dodo. She was immediately drawn to her special face and eyes.
The special cat had previously lived on the street and had to come to the animal shelter. Francisca explained to the staff at the animal shelter that she wanted to meet the cat and the rest is, as they say, history! Now Bean has finally been allowed to come to a home where she is loved for who she is. Bean was up for adoption for about a month and a half when Francisca took her home. On her Instagram, she has told about how no one wanted the poor cat. – No one applied for her at the animal protection and yes, some said she was ugly. I think it could be due to the following reasons: the flattering pictures they had posted, the German corona rules that only allowed one person per day to visit the animal shelter and the fact that Bean was described as a diva, says Francisca on Instagram.
The staff were incredibly loving and kind. They NEVER said Bean was ugly. Other people said that, not someone from the shelter. They cared so much about her and she wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for them. They did nothing wrong and I don’t want anyone to think badly of them. I am incredibly grateful to them, they were so nice and amazing and made the whole experience as easy and safe for both of us as possible.
